Default what does this part do?

not mustang related but tech related.

what exactly is this part supposed to do? is it like sub frame connectors for FWD cars ot like a lower strut tower brace? its for a fusion and he says his front end plows really hard, but i dont think this would help his situation. or would new struts and springs help stock this? he was looking at lowering springs, i figure this would help for the plowing.

1)what the hell does that part do and what is it for?
2)how to stop your car from plowing so hard when stopping or turning.

Probably just there to support the front sub frame...kind of like a K member brace. As far as the plowing/nose diving stiffer springs and maybe adjustable struts/shocks will help.

No, it isn't like a sway bar at all. It will do nothing noticable for day to day driving. It is more for roadrace drivers who like to take corners really hard. It is there to stablize the front end and keeping the sub frame from flexing(only stablizes the sub frame).....waste of money unless you are a racer.
