so im in the process of rebuilding a rear for my 91 gt and discovered rust on the inside of the axle tubes. so does anyone have any idea on how to get it out other than hot tanking due to the fact i cant find a place that does it. im gonna try sand blasting but was tryin to see if there was some sort of rust remove i could use

i would think that you could take one of those rabbit turd hones thats the size of the axle tube and get in there all nice like. unless its way in there then just sand blast it if you can. just my .02

but you need to make sure that all the grim gets out before you put it together, other wise it will sign the death of your rear end/parts

brake clean, a few red shop rags, something long enough to shove it through and some compressed air always worked for me
