With a little searching you should be able to find some info on it, but I'll stand by my assertation that the 94/95 EEC's are better. Also, your last post states 93 Cobra computer but the 93 cobra EEC is not as good as the GT A9L and would most likely not be an improvement over your factory Cobra EEC.

Good luck to you.
Not such the case....expecially when it comes to cam selection and how the eec will respond......if your not careful in your cam selection on a 94/95 then you will be spending time at a tuner to remove idle surging.hunting issues......the eec in these cars were modified from foxes to comply with more stringint emissions laws that were coming into effect and rather then redesign a whole new platform for the 302 eec's they tweaked them to comply as ford knew the 302 would be dropped from the mustangs fenders with the more emissions friendly 4.6[:'(].......however the sky is the limit if you have a stand alone eec programmer on these cars oh didn't see you had a 95..missed that in the first post so for your situation it would be better!!! my bad!!!!!!!

stand alone is the answer to all computer related questions...

just get a megasquirt, with the new 2.88 firmware, and you can still run your prescious MAF

question to you ADDER........so would it be better to buy a megasquirt already pre-assembled or do it your self...I know you said your dad was a electronics gu-ru as is my uncle......I'm not to keen on building a circuit board and having the trouble with f-ing up the solder job[:@]

buying them pre-assembled is an easier way to go about the process. I purchased mine as a kit so I could build it specifically for my mustang.

Although, you can now buy the 3.57 kits, which have surface mounted components, and the application specific settings, can now be done with jumpers.

I'm probably still going to build my next one, but for some people, it just makes more sence to buy it pre-assembled

The MS system is VERY easy to use. There are entire websites dedicated to setting it up on a mustang as well, which is helpful.

And if you are not planning on running boost, the MS2 firmware would be a good option for you. And if you get stuck.. i'm just an IM away.

I am extremely new at this and dont know what is what right now. I bought the car as is, and it runs like ****. Is that enough info to help out?

if all that is running off the stock computer then that is the majority of the problem...it'd need a decent tune...does the v-2 mean it's supercharged?? also when you say it runs bad...what do you mean by that?? what are some symptoms??

yeah its a vortex v-2, and some symptoms are having the pedal floored, it goes so fast then levels off and that is at about 90mph. the other stuff is just things that mech have told me. I am using a pms system on this current computer and the mech has said the car is near detonation, cam is set at 8 degree's, which he said was wrong, and the pms system is set at 38 degree's. Just all kind of stuff. I am scared to even start it and put it in first gear.
