Ackward 5.0 modding question...
What are some other ways to make hp/toruque and not touch the actual engine (trying to keep ingerity of the motor, any body got specs on that?like block type and what not.) besides CAI,Throttle body,pulleys,headers and all exhaust components? Superchargers and turbos are not an option for my finances.

no no no no, i grew up around dragsters who loved muscle cars, they never trasnfered over to fuel injection (smart in terms of HP). they didnt have limtations to what they did to there motor and the cars they work with were muscle cars, most of what you gave me to do is near alien to them and come to think of dont recall them doing much outside of explosion proof axles and bell housing in terms of being away from the motor and trans(of course gears). A MAF sensor to them is a hood scoop right on top of a carb motor. I mentioned in previous posts i dont talk to them in the past year, which is how long its been since i worked on a car. My CAI and Chip was the first thing ive done on a car all year. thanks for the help.

O i dont intend to make serious numbers what so ever, im just out to have fun with some thing i like to do. I know not many cars can step to a modded 5.0 if its all bolt-ons and maybe some other toys (ignition or distriutor) done to the extremes with bolt ons of course. I see myself in the 14-13s maybe seeing as how most people are pulling 12s with heads,intake manifold and what not that i wont do. Anybody got an estimation 1/4 at were ill be with all the bolt ons i intend to do? and who says you need good cash flow, people mod there car pay check to paycheck all the time, maybe some have to save up while others can do it right away. what ever it is one way or another it gets done correct?

I would do nitrous but im not a fan of push button hp. Something about it seems shaky, and always will even though nitrous has come quite a way throught technological advances for motors. I wanna be N/A by all means no S/C or nothing, jus good ol pushrod HP.
