making my car lighter
i was sitting around my house yesterday and i was thikin how to make my car lighter. I wanted to take my seats out of my 91 LX. Where would i start. And i mean the back seats, what would be the first step to makin this happen

just start ripping $h!T out thats what i did. is it a hatch or a notch? if it is a hatchback start in the trunk by unbolting the backs of the seats. Then the part were your butt goes, just tug up on it and it should just come right out, then just use your head and go from there (make sure you rip the seat belts out, they way a lot)

Yea, if its a track car then go to town. On my old scca sport compact uncle ben burner i ripped out EVERYTHING that i didn't need.
Rear seats and belts are good to go out
Get racing front seats
I pulled the support frame bars out of the doors (not safe if you get t-boned!)
No carpet
NO sound system
Pull a/c, power steering, smog pump, cruise control
And look at the link above for more i'm sure, but the rule is if you don't need it then remove it (on a track car)
