im still trying to decide if i should efi or carb the motor i have is from a late 80;s crown vic its efi it has the intake and injectors harness and thats about it would it be cheaper to find the other parts needed and just complete it or to go to carb if i were gonna stay efi what other parts would i need an any place that would be easy to find them that anyone knows of?

You will need the brain that's about it if you have the main harness. That and get a little handy with electronics. Carb is a somewhat less labor intense way to fix the issue, but I think you would be much happier with fuel injection after it is all said and done.

I will try to get you a link to the site I have been to that has the ECM's for just about every car ever made, and you can ebay also, I am not sure how that year model Vicky is set up. But I am quite positive you can in the very least use a brain from a speed density car. Or convert to mass and and all that goes with that.
