Default Which Throttle Body?

I'm looking for a new throttle body for my new setup, either a 70mm or a 75mm but I can't decide on the brand. I'm stuck on either a Professional Products or a BBK. I've heard mixed feelings on both so it is making the decision hard. The PP does have a very attractive price, is the BBK worth the extra bucks? Thanks guys.

(Sorry no search, the search don't seem to work)

Accufab doesn't make a throttle body for the SN95 5.0.

I wen't with PP because of the polished finish, i had to bore out one of the holes so it would actually bolt up and i also had to adjust the butterfly stop screw because it was sticking inside the TB. Now that it's straightened out I love it. I stayed away from BBK b/c of their whistling problem. PP also offers adjustments for the TPS.

Forgot about size. With normal bolt ons go with 65mm, with a head/cam/intake swap go with a 70mm and for forced induction you can go with 75mm if you like.

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like PP it is. I'm doing H/C/I and a vortech so I figure 75mm will be the way to go. What elbow adapter did you guys use? Is the PP one just fine or should I get the Trick Flow?

PP will be perfect for your application. cheap with decent quality. i had a slight whistle to mine after installed, drilled an 1/8 in hole in the butterfly and problem was solved.

Yeah, a slight whistle won't really bother me. Going to be running a V1 S-trim anyway so probably won't even notice the TB whistling lol. As long as the TB does it's purpose I'll be happy.

the whistling is bad so you want to fix it. whistling has to do with distruption of air because of unequal pressure on either side of the tb. the small hole equalizes this and stops the disruption of air flow making it a smoother air flow....more stable idle. if it whistles....drill it.
