if it's a direct replacement reman engine for your application it should be a 50 oz balance motor requiring a 50oz balance flywheel

I had one in my first fox, worked GREAT! I agree with mrj, it should be a direct replacement application 50oz, but if all else fails call up jasper and ask 'em, i had a jasper block and trans, they loved me because i gave them lots of $$$

Way over priced for what you get. There are better options out there.

I have actually toured there plant. It is a nice place and I am sure if you had some issue that they could control or fix they would have. If you have a warranty claim it takes them almost a month to get them back tear them down and come to a conclusion if its covered or not. Did you stay in contact with your customer service rep about it?

As far as the guy that his school ordered three of them. Do you think by some chance the other classes might have mixed all the stuff up or, the school told them "hey just send us 3 of the cheapest engines you got for class. It dont matter what they are we are just going to tear them down and put them back together type thing."

+1, even a backyard engine builder would not allow there to be different size bores or pistons. Not going to happen. Even DSS wouldn't do that!
