if you do heads and and intake youll kill your friends, you dont even need to do cam, just put 1.7 rocker arms on it and it will be like you have a bigger cam. and when you do the sc youll totally murder them in a race

I am happy with my 6 lb. baby!
I believe for a 9 lb. you may have to consider updating some other parts, like better gaskets, head bolts, injectors.
Make sure you some researching on what is involved in going with that much boost. You want that 5.0 to last and remain reliable.

I know my 0 to 60 mph is 5.2 on the stock tires seen in the photo. When I put the wider ones on this spring it should hook a little better, but more importantly handle even better on corners.
I am somewhere in the 13's for th 1/4 would be just a guess. The car has a really good pull right off the line now with the control arms.
A write-up I read when reviewing the Powerdyne says the supercharger alones knocks off between 1 and 1.5 secs in the quarter for my car.
The exhaust was a HUGE HP gain in combo with the blower... definetely knocked off quite a bit more.

If you have the money, go for a Procharger with an intercooler. You won't have to tap the oil pan with those superchargers either and go with 8 lbs of boost.
That will get you way into the 300's for HP.

Have you already gotten your SC? Kenne Bell's are prefect for automatics since the have full boost by 2K rpms. Just my 2 cents.

The problem is, if you put heads on the 5.0 motor, it would be crazy. Its not a bad motor, just a great motor with really awful heads. Thats why they advertise 75hp on new heads.
