Default Crate engine 'kits'?

Are there any companies that have packages of everything you need to build up a decent engine, but none of it assembled? Figured it would ease the wait for a fox if I could at least start building the engine.

if your going back stock there are all sorts of rebuild kits just check jegs or summit. if your gonna spice it up then it gets more complicated because you need to build everything to jive together internally.

I don't mean a stroker kit, I mean EVERYTHING lol. Block, crank, pistons, heads, cam, etc.

in that case you put what you want together. but as far as buying a kit, no its usually a short block, long block, or just plain block. but nobody just has a kit with all of it seperate atleast ive never seen one.

ive never seen that big of a kit... if your looking for a "kit" though, youd have to grab a shortblock, and a top end kit... then all the little misc ****(pan(maybe?), plugs, dizzy, etc)

or...grab a junkyard motor(exploder, or mustang(exploder has better heads/intake) and just redo it(bearings rings etc) and if you get gt40 **** you can get them ported, alot w. the intake...

or... what i'd do, depending on budget, get a short block, and build your top end yourself

what kind of budget are you working with?

also, get up w. a local machine shop, they can suggest alot, and my have some stuff around they can sell you...
