Default Possible starter problems?

Just recently when i first go to start the car, the lights and radio come on, but the car wont turn, ill wait a second and it tries to start then stops. If i wait like a minute or 2 is starts up no problem. I dont know if its because its cold out or what but does anyone have any ideas?
