Default Taurus Fan

I have a 1995 mustang GT. Its extremely hot here in Thailand. I was wondering if a taurus fan is better that the stock fan. I was also looking at the Mark VIII fans. Which one is better or are they they same as the stock fan??

They areall electric. Try a cooler thermostat along with a mantianed cooling system.

How warm is the car getting? Do you have under drive pullies?

Tried a cooler thermostat, doesnt work, I know they are both electric, What I need to know is are the Taurus/Mark VIII fans better than the stock Mustang Fans. No underdrive pullies. I'm in Thailand where its 90 to 100 degrees, not to mention the traffic.

ok heres the thing, I live in a similar climate 100-110 degrees, and I had a clutch type fan, if you're overheating theres a problem with the cooling system, for the thermostat a 180* one is what you need, make sure the radiator is not plugged, also the water pump might be on its way out, do you have any loss of coolant? check the top of the pump there will be a tiny hole where water will seep when the pump is gone. Does it only overheat when idling?

I have a 180 degree thermostat, and no leaks from the water pump. I just ordered a MARK VIII fan ,so hopefully that will help, and maybe change the waterpump also. Thailand is very hot and the traffic is bad. Even some the modified rice burners have trouble keeping cool.

I understand your situation, but the fact is the stock system is enough for your car, unless you have any mods? I would have the radiator checked

Hello guy, thanks for the support, I have had the radiator changed, tried a 160 thermostat, didnt work, went back to 180. It doesnt get as hot when I changed the radiator, but its past 3/4 towards Hot. The ac even stops blowing cold. Could it be the timing? Its at 10 degrees. The car was bought in Kentucky, so I was told that I was going to have problems with the heat because its a winter car. I never had this problem ubtil I brought it to Thailand. The water pump was changed back in 2002. At this point I'm about to change the waterpump and go with the Mark VIII fan.

Do a pressure test on it. If it doesnt hold pressure than you have a leak. possibly internal.
