Default Igniton Box location

i was trying to find the location for the stock igniton box on my friends 88 but it's no where to be found any ideas where it might be? i know mine is aftermarket and plainly in sight but i can't seem to locate his anywhere... im clueless lol

relocate the battery to the trunk and put the msd box there..that's what i DID

hes not asking where to put an msd or crane... hes askin where the stocker is... um... there isnt one is there?... ecu, tfi, and coil is all we got stock... as far as i know

and if ur lookin for somewhere to put an aftermarket one, the pass. side shock tower, the front of it... btwn it and the air box... thats where mine was gonna go

i assuming so too dimebag, i know on my 85 351 w i got a stocker and my 86 i got one too but it's a jacobs aftermarket. he's having aidling problem when it gets hot and i was gonna see if i could replace the ign. box to see ifit was overheating

yeah it's redpony88's here's a lil what he's got, we were getting some input from some ford tech at our work to see what might be the issue so they suggested the box might be a problem

well, it'll surge after you take off and hit the brakes at the first stop sign. after that it'll continue to surge and drop down to about 500 rpm and stall out from time to time unless you keep your foot on the gas, and no it isnt tuned
