so im pretty sure my fuel floter is messed up.
problem is nobody around here sells them
i tried autozone, kragen, papboys and looked through napa's web site
anybody know were i can get one?

If your looking for just the float that is copper in barrel like in nature then you can buy the float for a few bucks at a place called cjpony parts...but are you looking for the complete sender..if so what year??

hmm so might as well replace the whole thing while im in there right?
(is the float the little black box on the sending uinit?)

 

the float is the black thing...but I've never seen one go bad on that style sending unit..and they don't just sell the float for that style...= replace as assembley...usually the resistance bar in the silver box area goes bad

You can get them from the Ford dealer for 89 bucks I think it was. They also have some reproduction ones on ebay for 47 or so, atleast a few months back there was a ton anyways.
