Default Cam ?

Right now I have on my car thumper ported heads and a Cobra intake. Everything else inside the engine is stock. I have in my posession an E-cam. I am wondering if I can put the E-cam on without any trouble. The engine was rebuilt 30,000 miles ago to stock levels. Thanks for letting me know.

It will be fine with your setup, I don't see ptv clearance being an issue, but it never hurts to check...unless you are to lazy to pull the heads off

Why wouldn't it work? Should be fine, although you can get a much better cam.

You are golden as long the valvetrain is up to par.

I do not see any issues with piston to valve clearance, as long as the valves are opening when supposed too, and the valves on the head are stock size as not to go over the valve reliefs.

if your current springs on the heads are matched to the stock cam..you'll need to upgrade to matched springs, retainers and lockes and check proper valvetrain geometry such as push rod length

+1 on stronger valve springs, otherwise you'll probably float.

valve springs are stronger than stock. They are made for E or B cam.
