Wow this is really pissing me off. Also i have a feeling if its metric then the oil ring it the 3.0mm size. What can i use to get an exact measurment of these rings, nothing i have can do it acuratly in millimeters.

the best way is use a digital micrometer.....so the rings you bought in no way fit right??.....hmmmmmm I'd measure the old ones to get an exact measurement..if you don't have access to a proper tool go to a machine shop and ask if they can measure it for you

ya, i think they must be 1.5mm / 1.5mm / 3.0mm. The only other things im worried about is the bore there, will that be right at least? Same as the other?

Bore(mm):
101.600mm

Of course the most expensive out of all of them.But i called summit to find this right re-ring kit before orderding it and now its wrong, so i should be able to send them back and just pay the extra money its going to be to get the new ones right? I wont get charged extra because the package was opened or anything?

Also have you ever herad of that size piston rings in mustangs?

metric?? yes..in the later model mustang foxes..and the oil control ring should be 4mm not 3mm.....you can send back what you ordered easily to summit but you won't be able to be credited the amount until they recieve yours you got now......the bore should be 4 .000 since they are stock pistons

alright so i talked to a few people took some measurements and called summit back and i ordered the 1.5 / 1.5 / 4.0 mm set of piston rings. Those are supposed to be for an 86-89 or something the guy told me at summit, so he said mabey it was a later year car that i have and they used pistons for the next year instead or something, but hopefully those will fit when i get them and thanks for the help.

i never even knew ford went to metric rings in the 302's, i've always dealt with aftermarket pistons and they are all american sizes
