Not necesarily. I think Maximum Motorsports coil over kit comes with sleeves that go over the strut that is threaded.

I thought that UPR and Granatelli kits came with the tube that slides over the strut, Ive heard of guys using lakewoods but having to cut some ring off the top or something???, Iam in the same situation you are, Lakewoods, and coilovers......

thanks for the help. I also E-mailed D&D motorsports and asked them and they told me a kit like this one http://www.dndmotorsports.com/?page=...ca9123a27& works with lakewoods.

I have the D&D kit with lakewoods...and all you have to do is perform a simple mod and cut the top ring off with a cut off wheel so the threaded adjuster will slide over the strut = easy to do!!!

I use the UPR Coil-Overs with my 90/10's.
All you have to do is cut the top ring off the strut just like mjr46 said.
