i just had my alternator rebuilt, and now my car makes a clicking sound like when your battery is almost dead and can't start the car when i try to turn it on. this happens atleast once beforeit turns on.the battery isalmost new. has any1 had this problem orhave an idea of whatmight be causing it?

 

Does the clicking sound come from around the battery? if so it sounds like it could be your starter solenoid.

 

And if it does end up being the solenoid spend the little extra on the motorcraft replacement one because i went the cheap route on the off brand it its dieing on me again after 6 months

 

number 1 use good quality parts and number 2..check all connections and clean if necessary...check power and ground wires for and bad contact/corossion

 

i will check to see if its the starter solenoid and check all connections. i'll let you guys know later. thanxs
