so im almost wrapped up installing my heads etc.....

has anyone had problems with the bbk unequal shorties smog tube fitment? if so, what was your resolve to the problem?

also, i was getting ready to bolt back on my accessory plates, and noticd that there needed to be threaded plugs where the thermactor hole is, so the accessory bolt has something to screw into. what a f@#$#$ up design. i hope i can get the old ones out of my heads, cause the dealer wants $18.50 a piece for them. what a joke........

i just cant wait to get this crap over with, its no fun when your doing it by yourself and having to learn everything the hard way[:@]

 

Yep, I had that problem with my brothers GT40X heads. Luckily I found a race shop in town that did a lot of machine work and they had them. I was happy to give 3.50/ea for them.
