Fuel Pump installation question ???????
do i need any special fuel line tools or any other specialty tools for the installation of my new Holley 190 lph fuel pump. Should I release the pressure from the schrader valve on the fuel rail before I begin the installation process. Thanks guys.
no special tools bud...i just pulled the inertia switch off,and crank till it wouldn't start....it should come with another wiring harness...if not just butt connect it.
i wouldn't solder will deteriate over time, and shrink wrap too!....i just did how ford did it thats all

You might want to solder and heat shrink it than just butt connectors.

is it a pretty easy job?- what is the hardest part? Is it hard to get the assembly apart to change the pump and the pump filter? any pointers or words of wisdom to help me along. by the way- the pump came with a new harness.
Are you serious? I work at Ford and we would only solder connections because it's the best way to go. It won't detioriorate.
