So should I not use that cam if I need more lift on the exhaust side?

2 of them are crane cams..the other is a stage 1 cam form trickflow

just go to the crane web site.......if you haven't put the new heads on why not flycut the pistons

Flycutting would solve piston to valve clearance issues right? I wasnt going to do anything like that because I dont have a 2nd car and dont want to be without a car for a month or more.

those cams are good for alot of different apps.

flycutting should only take an hour or 2 no need to pull the pistons to do it..I take cotton and run it around the piston and cyl wall..then when spray some wd-40 on the cotton and piston ..when done I use a shop vac as it pulls all the metal and cotton at the same time..then I wipe down the piston top and the walls with some wd-40

I just called crane cams and they said the 443942 was a flat tappet and I couldnt use it, they recomended 44225 with 1.7 rockers. Not trying to be annoying or anything, just dont want to get the wrong cam lol.

He wasnt much help though, just asked quick questions and said get this cam okay thanks bye. The compcam guy was a little better lol.
