my car is making a weird noise coming fromthe trans. it sounds kind of like its knocking but it does it inall of the gears except 4th. with speed the sound gets louder and faster. plz help its my everyday driver. its an 85 mustang

 

Iforgot to add that after i put it in reverse and go into 1st it will pop out, and sometimes going into 2nd it will pop out and grind. I seriously nedd to figure out this problem because i have no other car to drive

 

ooo u needa full t-5 rebuild....ur synchros and shifter forks are toast..get ready to spend some$$$$$

i found out my problem 2 teeth on my input shaft broke offbut happened at different times. ive got another one being built now i hope they can get it finished b4 the weekend though
