This is my daily driver. Should I go with the 306 ci or 331 stroker. I have Edelbrock Performer heads, TFS intake, rockers, CAI, and shorty headers. I am looking for the best gas mileage possible just like everybody else but will I be more satisfied with the with the HP from the 331 vs the 306? Thanks for checking it out.

 

i can only talk about 331's bc thats what i have and i get 18 mpg city and 26 highway

 

more cubic inches = more power

 

I'd have to say if your going to go through the trouble of a rebuild why not just go 331?

The parts won't be that much more expensive and you'd probably be much happier with your car HP wise.

18 and 26 is pretty good for a built 331 in my book.

Thanks for advice stanglx. Right now I have 294 rwhp and 327 torque. Will I see a much bigger difference in HP. Have you had yours dynod? Thanks for the info.

 

yes you will see a huge difference trust me on that. No I havent got my car dynoed yet but im going to this summer im guessing i have about 330 rwhp or more
