got code 12 idle out of specified range High while vehicle running....

Repleced iac , reset base idle , checked wiring connections performed resistance test on wires ( pin 21 , 37 ) all shows 0.6ohm ..good what gives?

Got a rough idle when cold........


Trickflow top end kit, bbk TB , No emission equipment , A9L Maf Converted

any inputs ?

 

Code 12 - RPM Not Within Self Test Upper Limit (R), Idle Speed Control motor or Air Bypass not controlling idle properly -generally idle too low.

Slightly raise idle via the TB blade stop screw, and repeat a KOER self test, if the code shows up again, repeat the TB blade adjustment (open TB blade a little more) and rerun a KOER self test......as long as the TPS voltage in closed throttle position doesn't exceed 1.1 vdc, it will work fine.... no need to keep adjusting TPS voltage as long as it stays in the .8 - 1.1 vdc window..... the ECM will take care of the rest.
