Took a trip to the U-pullit lot and looked for the oldest, dirtiest 2.3L stang. Found the perfect one with like a trillion miles on it so i know the springs are nice and soft. I had a hand cart with all the needed tools: jack (didnt even use this), 2 pry bars, pipe, all sockets and various pliers and clippers. I VERY CAREFULLY removed the springs, they are dangerous and tend to want to explode when loosening ****. I took some pics, ill post those up soon.


BTW: How much of a different will my rear-squat be over stocker springs?



EDIT: for 20 bucks how can you neglect this mod!!!

Got alot of 4 banger stangs in the pick and pull here by me, but I like ride quality so I think i will stick with my v8 springs lol. Also alot of 3.8 taurus's with the electric fans, if anyone is interested next time I go I will pull a few and sell them slightly marked up for my time. I will pull the fans with as much of the harness as I can get so it will be easier to install. They go for $20 here for electric fans, $15 for my time to pull, test, and clean. Let me know who's interested, if I get enough response I'll make a trip this weekend.

4 banger springs r the sh*t, i bought a complete 4cyl car rolling, for 20$, delivered lol. i put the 4cyls in my car, makes it launch hard but im also getting rear drag springs from summit for 90$ so it will squat better

so what should i do with my 4 banger front springs? put them in my front or my rear end?


also, i see strange sells these 10 way adjustable struts for the front. it doesnt say anything about if they can be adjusted from 70/30 to 90/10, it just says "you can adjust them softer or firmer" that doesnt tell me anything. i want to know what the dampen rating on them is. so should i get the non adjustable 70/30 or the 10 way 'i dunno its softer' adjustables.

should i go back there and get the rear springs from a 4 cylinder stang? i just want to know what makes the best squat and is a common mod.
