I have had my car in storage since november and i went to start it yesterday and it will only start if its in neutral. When its in gear it wants to jump forward when i try and start it. When i have it running it wont go into gear at all, but when the car is off it goes into gear fine. 1989 5.0 mustang. Any help would be great thanks

 

id say your clutch isnt disengaging completly. check your cable it sounds like its either too loose or something is broken, not sure what else would cause that
