I bought my car with the engine partially appart. I can't seem to figure out how the alternator bracket fits on to the engine. Does anyone have a pic of the front of the engine so I can see how things mount??

THE ALT BRACKET?? IT...is a carrier typedeal that holds the alt and smog pump

So does it bolt to the studs on the water pump or studs coming from the head or block??

 

the alt carrier assemblwt has 3 bolts that hold it to the block
