from what I can see you have a stock cable.. there is no adjustment on that ....that's why it's imperative to have a stock quadrant set up with the built in self adjuster

so where do i go from here? First off will it matter ifi routed it like around the motor mount rather than right underneath it? Would that do anything? Also so if i have the stock cable how do i get this adjusted so my clutch stops slipping?

either get a stock quadrant in there or have someone farmiliar with them look at it to verify what you got and if it's not stock ..you'll need an adjustable cable and firewall adjuster

alright, well if the thing at the firewall is stock, how do i go about puttingan adjust on it? Do i have to take the quadrant and all that off or can i get it on somehow just by taking the end off at the tranny?

You can leave the quadrant on, and just install a firewall adjuster.....and you should be able to get some adjustment...

There are some good directions for install at Maximum Motorsports:

Just go to their site:

http://www.maximummotorsports.com/ and click "Installation Instructions" then "Clutch Cable Firewall Adjuster"

Hope this helps!

+1. To install an adjuster, you only have to pop the cable off the quadrant...which may require popping it off of the clutch fork first. But if you have some jackstands and a crowbar or something, you can do it within30 minutes. You could try an aftermarket adjustable cable, and keep the setup you have now, but those cables are terrible in terms of feel and reliability. Let us know when you get it ironed out.
