hey whats a good shifter set up for a C4 trans in a fox? im kinda new to automatics. Also what brand of torque converter would be good to look at? ill be making something like 425 hp at the flywheel and a 3.73 gear in the rear. thanks.

 

Hurst quarter stick is the one I went with. I put in the stock location. Cut a small hole in the shifter boot for the trigger. Left the detent under the boot. Tied up my clutch pedal and ran my trans brake thru my e brake. Now when I am discussing a race $$$. They think I have a 5 speed. I leave on the brake and wait on them at the burger stand. K, that last line does not always work out. But it is still fun to watch the look on their face. If you really want to confuse them. Putt around the staging lanes in 2nd. They will think your clutch is slipping. Makes for a good payday. Good Luck.

Oh I had to move my radio to the lower slot on console. The trigger hits the plastic piece above radio but does not cause a problem

PTC will work wonders with your setup. They hooked me up.

 

I have a B&M hammer to me they look the best

 

I got a B&M pro Ratchet with a reverse manual vave body in my stang with my C4.

my friend has a hurst v-matic = rachet mode for race and regular mode for street driving

 

quick ? we have a c4 is it hard to hook up to a fox because we need a AOD but we dont have one but we have a c4 layin in the shop

 

Ive been looking at shifters on jegs what exactly would i need for the shifter to work, assuming im starting from scratch. just the run of the mill 200 shifter will work?
