tick tick tick/ slapping noise that'll increase with rpm's...post a video of the noise and we can help you decern

 

if you have bent push rods i would change them i run titanium onesin my 306 not a problem, i would think it would be more of a steady noise because it can load every time the cam rotates and pushes the lifter up you will hear it so thats why i think it would be steady, i would also check the cam lobes too just in case something happened that you may not be able to see with out removing the cam..And i would replace all the lifter too...IMO

 

honest opinion from everybody are these new pushrods i have going to shut my engine up?

oh and you described my noise it sounds like a sprinkler im screwed

 

time to dig into the motor and see what caused it, premature failure????
