Default 160 mph cluster

I'm thinking about buying a 160mph cluster from this parts store. The cluster came from a police mustang. What year I don't know. I wanted to put it in my 88 lx. The only thing that knew about the cluster is that it came from a police car and that it was a mass air car. Will it work in my 88 lx?

the fact thats its a mass air flow shouldnt matter, but you will have to calibrate your speedo for 160, so it will read the proper mph, your speedo reads 85, and if you jump to 160 your speed will be way off

I that's one thing that I didn't think about. I guess that My 23 tooth speedo gear needs to be changed out. i just didn't want to pass up a gauge cluster that read 160 mph. It cost me 110. shipped.
