What are the best performance and loudest flowmasters? I want a good set for my 1989 mustang gt convertible. Does anyone have the Delta Force mufflers? I hear they are extremely loud, but do they still have that deep performance sound? I want my car to sound great but be really loud. I have been thinking about a single chamber flowmaster, but I am not sure. Someone help me. Oh and my car is pretty much stock. My mods are in my signature.

Shouldn't just headers be loud and really good for performance?? heh. Not sure, I have dynomax mufflers, but others have the flowmasters and they should send their knowledge this way relatively soon.

i think my setup is perfect.. i have ceramic shorties, o/r h, 2.5" flowmaster 40 series with turndowns.. nice idle, very deep and very loud when i give it gas.. but i can cruise and barely hear it when i go by cops or when i have a headache from it.

have you ever ran a ford motor with just headders? The motor sputs and looses power fords need the back pressure to run, unlike chevy motors. I have bbk shorties /351w swap headders to 2 stright pipes to dual 40 series flows and i love the sound. Anyone who hears my car says it is the most health mustang they have heard.

i have dynomax and i hate them, 40 series flows and a good offroad h pipe will net you a good decently loud exhaust, for starters.
