Anyone running this exhaust on a 5.0 with a vid/sound clip? My friend just got it on 4.6 SOHC Faleen and it sounds amazing. Also, can I just buy the mufflers and put them on or do I need the whole catback?

Do you have the whole cat back or just the mufflers?

 

Stangman's SLP 5.0 is the only one i've ever liked. Maybe it's b/c of the longtubes and custom X pipe, i don't know but most of the time it sounds too much like a truck to me.

I've been told my car sounds like a big *** truck before....

 

slp sounds different on 5.0's vs 4.6's
they are loud as loud gets, i dont like the sound personally, i like more of a magnaflow or borla sound. the new saleens come with magnaflows and they sound good on that car.
an x pipe and loud mouth 1's will sound like a truck and have a god awful amount of poping in the exhaust, thats one sound i dont like [:'(]

 

Just got the cat-back kit for the turbo vert.

Calling these things mufflers is really pushing it.
Just a straight thru pipe with expanded resonance area.
