Ok so im going to change my oil soon, However. it has been burning oil like crazy. and its starting to tap.

I know a rebuild is needed, but i don't have the cash for that now, So my question is.

What would be the best oil to use?

i have been running 10w30 castrol through it. Should i just continue to use that? suggestions please!

 

I know in my friends oldsmobile 454 and my other friends racing nova he runs 15w 40. I would chose a heavery oil if your noticing allot of oil burning and want to make it last awhile bit longer untill rebuild but thats me.
