Default Update

Im posting an update on this thread:
https://mustangforums.com/m_4952834/tm.htm

I just swapped out the Cobra computer for the stock A9P (my car used to have an AOD) and the drivability issues seem to have gone away. The stumbling at low rpm is gone and I can drive in the city without a problem now. I drove around a bit and didnt have any issues like before.

Eventually I might get the Cobra MAF but I might just leave the stock computer in since it seems to be running good.

Told ya. Now its up to you. You can leave the stock one in and then just get it tunned or wait and find another cobra mass air and put all the cobra ecu and mass air on and then get it tunned its up to you.

Well I think right now hes running

Granatelli MAF sensor calibrated for 24 lb injectors + stock A9P ecu + 24lbers = running great car.

what I meant was mixing and matching with a cobra ecu = runs like crap...ie...cobra ecu +30b inj +maf calibrated for 30's = run like crap..cause the calibrATION FOR inj is all in the cobra ecu = not forgiving like a fox ecu/a9por a9l...ALL CLEAR NOW????

I think the only problem with using a calibrated MAF with the Cobra ECM is the fact that it is alreadyprogramed to run 24's where probably all aftermarket MAFs are calibrated to trick a ECM programed to run 19's. You would most likely need a special MAF or a tune to run a cobra ECM with larger or smaller than 24's.
