i believe the 93 were 5.0s and they swutched to the 351s in the 95 Rs but i could be wrong

 

your right. the 93's had 5.0 and the 95 had 351.

The stickys are your friend. From what I have seen the '93 Cobra and R model used more or less the same motor. The main differences were in the suspension/brake setup as well as the R coming with other race-oriented goodies.

 

93 R's a 5.0 andhad no a/c, no stereo, no fog lights, no back seat, better brakes and springs.
One just not sold on Ebay for $80K. It only has 67 miles on it still has all of the plastic wrapping on it.
