I found duel 13 inch fans that pull 1,900 cfm a pice but with boath fans it will pull 50amps, how big of an alt would i need? what kind of fans do you guys run and how many cfm's do they pull and amps?

 

i would say like a 130 would be the lowest i would go

 

both fans pulling 50 amps doesn't sound that bad. a single taurus fan uses close to that.

 

I used a taurus fan, and with the stock alt it just drained my battery, and it kept blowing 30 amp fuses.

 

no no no, togeather they pull 50amps, one by its self pulls like 23.5 or somethin and togeather they pull 4,000 cfms, dose anyone have duel electric fans? what brand are they? and how do they work

 

With my psychic skills, I predict your dual fan is from a SHO Taurus, hehe.

Anyway, the Taurus single fan does not use 50amps, most likely it's 30amps, it blows the fuses because it uses more htan 30amps on startup, so it'll blow the fuse, you'll need to use 40amp fuses, and I think the only place that sells standard ATC style fuses in 40amps is Napa Auto Parts.

 

lol you need to work on your psychic skills, they are SPAL fans, i want a lot of air because im going to do more motor work sometime and i dont want to buy a fan for what i have now and then buy another one later.
