Over Heating.
I own a 5.01995 mustang in Bahrain where it is regularly +35deg. My stang is getting really hot when I throttle hard and this is not good.
I have removed the thermostat and cleaned the radiator fins externally which has improved the cooling in traffic but as soon as I floor the pedal, the temp goes up again.

I noticed that the radiator outflow pipe collapses when the engine throttles up. I guess this could be down to the rad having high resistance to flow and needs cleaning but I would like some more minds on this problem.

have you tried flushing your system? pull the rad out and drain it then stick a garden hose in it and just flush it from the bottom that way everything will come out. then stick the hose in the block and flush the block out. while its out test your t-stat make sure its opening at the right temp and it wouldnt hurt to just replace it with a 180* that will cool you down a little bit. fill the rad up and burp the system and see how that works

does it only overheat during acceleration or at any other time?
At idle or in trafficthe temp indicator needle is in the middle of the gauge (normal)but with in minutes of gunning it, the temp needle raises to almost the red mark and the engine begins to rattle.
The heater works fine and I have no reason to think there is air in the system. I did notice with my head under the hood that when I throttle up by hand, I see that the radiator outflow pipe collapses.
I think I will need to have the rad out and fully flush it but what do you think?
