I THINK MY MUSTANG HAS MORE POWER WHEN THE AC IS ON.AM I GOING CRAZY ITS LIKE I HAVE ABOUT 10 TO 15 MORE HP WITH IT ON ANY ANSWERS WOULD HELP.....1989 DROPTOP302 EFI SOME WHAT STOCK:eek:

no no way..if anythign it shoudl take away power because u are using the accessory drive..a/c uses gas..well it makes the motor work harder..but thats weird dude..maybe casue the a/c is blowing in ur face u feel liek ur goin faster..

hahahaha 5.0 85 gt thast funny NOT......I just figured out that the w/o/t relay cuts off the compresor. Any way just wondering if that relay has anything to do with the cpu...mods done to my stang mac 1.78 long tubes/mac h pipe/40 s flows stock tails/upr u/d/p/ upr c/a/i in fender/70mm pp tb/oh 2.73 rear gears and t5.....

car runs 13.5 at 112 with 2.73 no spin its nice top end sick next to my buddys z06 and said i was going about 165mph 170 i could not beleave it 5th geaar 4200

Allright, that's a little different! I'm a newbie here, but from time to time as I was searching for anwers to my GT woes over the internet I would come across posts on Mustang Forums that had just what I was looking for.I understand that there are different member titles, and that the titles are probably tied to how many posts one has made, but what the hell does someone have to do to be a "naked member"? LOL! :D

hey thats what my budy said i think his spedo is right zo6..... i am not shure how fast i was goingmy spedo was at 140 and still pulling when i put it in 5th so what doyou think oh 2.73 are top end gears thats why my take off is not that good got prety good boltons so why not how fast do you think your car does top end you got boost right next time i will put gps... iam not here to prove any thing just like thissite.....

Your engine may be capable of going 200 mph...in a car shaped like a bullet. A foxbody will not allow those speeds, aerodynamics play the major role in not being able to go that fast.I dont think you have enough power to get your car that fast. I'm not knockin ya,just being realistic.Nothing really to do with being scarred, just some folks have better sense;).

nice answer fastblack... but you do see fox mustangs doing well over 200 1/4 mile but yes they do have a 1000plus hp thanks for being nice oh by the way read the new post (why not):D

you can go 160 on 2.73's, just with alot more horsepower that you are not making.

you car with stock susp. at 160-170 would be terribly unstable and you would most likely crash.

just try dont be scared?

just try and use grammar properly?

also you ran 13.5 with stock gearing and bolt ons? i guess ill get my waders on, the **** is getting waste high....

Sorry droptop but your not doing 13.5 in a 1/4. Not with your small bolt on list and 2.73's. People with 3.73's struggle with 13.5's with small bolt on's. Lets see a video of that pass;)

lol, i had 2.73's with my current set up, once you hit 110, the top starts to catch air, and it it gets a little iffy.

maybe if i had more road, and the top down i would have taken it higher, but its not like it was pulling like crazy like this guy is saying.


id say 130-140mph is the max for stockish andlightly modedstangs

my t-5 blew up because from the factory they are junk, and when you race you break things. you might learn that if you weren't bench racing/making **** up...

what a vert 3100 gt lx 2900 3000pounds....i think when i put mine on the scale 3000 or so 13.5 with gtac pro.never said i went to the track never said i went 160 170 thats what my budy said not here to lie no need to i also droped some weight no back seat no rear panels took out stock seats and put raceing seats in took at least 100 pounds off the car oh no spare tire..i will be puting a gps to see topend speed..82dropgt be nice dot be a dick....
