Default machine work estimate

Im getting ready to rebuild the 302 out of my 94 GT, and I was just wondering if someone could give me a ball park figure of what I can expect to pay to have my block bored .040 over, the flats decked, all eight connecting rods shock peened, and my crank re-ground. Im on a tight budget, so i just want to know what kind of money i have to throw around for some other parts. Thanks

Default RE: machine work estimate

It will cost $300 for the block service and thats includes the crank ground if needs it (rare on a ford but let the meachenest tell you it's fine )
I have yet to get a ford block decked the also rarely warp

Never got a shot peened job but it cant be 100 bux

I would strongly sugest ARP main studs and rod bolts BEFOR THE MECHEAN JOB . they hafto be installed for the mecheanest to measure the block correctly
