Patriot paid for labor, gaskets, fluids - everything. There was nothing else I could have asked them to do.
damn!

so it was just valve seals? if that was the only problem thats not a casting/machining issue

Never been on a dyno... the butt dyno was a massive difference. I use to get moderate tire spin in first and chirp second. After the install full throttle in first is almost useless, second lays a healthy patch and I hook in third. The thing that I noticed most about the head swap is after 2200-2500 RPM.. the car pulls very, very hard. I can be rolling in second and floor it and the car is on the verge of loosing traction from 2500 all the way through the RPM range.

I wish I had the funds to take it in for a dyno run. It would be nice to see actual numbers rather than talking out what my *** feels... I am not sure what a dyno run would even cost in my area.

idk, i just want a good head, that i can grow with, because one day id like to be making some insane power.

thats why i picked trickflow twisted wedge, they can get me to 300hp easy, and down the road if i want to throw 10-15psi at this engine, the heads wont be holding anything back.

but that is my major issue right now, trying to figure out of trickflow's are really worth it, or should i just go with a cheaper head, such as patriots, or ported gt40p's
