Any knows what all it takes to put a solid roller cam in a 5.0 block?

A solid roller cam, solid roller lifters and valve springs to match your cam. Roller rockers are a nice compliment to this set up also. Set the valve lash around .016"-.020" on the rocker tip cold setting. Bust that beast off and hold on to your shorts. Be sure not to get to big of a cam that you will run into PTV clearance problems. I don't look through the big vendor catalogs that much, but it's hard to get a solid lift cam that doesn't have huge lift with out going to a custom grinder. They have a few, just have to shop around to see what your after. I love solid lift sound and the performance gain is worth having to adjust your valves every once in awhile.

yes you can swap lifters no problem. your gonna need adjustable rocker arms though, which means you'll need a rocker arm stud conversion kit (im guessing you have 1978 or newer heads)
