Last year I installed my Pypes catted x and cat-back w/violator mufflers. I am very happy with the sound and performance, fitment was o.k , needed tocut one of the flow tubes. But overall for the money, I am very happy with it.

+1

I have the entire Pypes Violater system w/o off-road X and I love the sound. My tail pipes fit like crap though. For the money you can't beat it if you're willing to message them a bit.

HOPEFULLY I can get a vid this summer.

That's intriguing, I was looking into getting one but I wasn't sure. Does anyone have any soundclips of their Pypes X pipe, with or without cats?

The Pypes webpage is LOADED with sound clips.

My car sounds about like the clips, but in real life its a bit deeper.

edit:

That my system on a '94.. No cats and violator mufflers.

Yeah I've listened to that soundclip, that car sounds sick. I definitely wouldn't mind my car sounding like that.

It cost me a grand total of $398 shipped to have mine sound that way...

for the entire system...

I bought it from these guys: http://www.mustangwarehouse.com/

I don't think they carry the systems in stock, so it took like a month to get it drop shipped from pypes. My headers (different brand) came from Mustang Warehouse in like 3 days. I would do business with them again despite the long wait on the system.

edit: I did my transaction through emails though. Their webpage kinda sucks.

the one thing i like about pypes is that it is a real x pipe. the bbk one i havedoesnt havea x section as drastic as the pypes one does, at a quick glance it could pass for a h pipe [:@]

This is my 1st stang, so I have no other experience with X's, but I got the pypes x and I like the quality and if I want to go with a 351 I can still use this X cause it is in 3 pieces.
