it all depends on how much hp you have...for instance if you have a 600hp car then 4.10's will be Etremely short, youll fly throught those gears. thats where it would be better to get 3.73's, but I love 4.10's(except on the highway)LOL

well after driving around on them for a while im pretty happy. i like how my car almost never shifts into 2nd. always in 3rd and 4th for good miliage. i like how i can excellerate in 4th. i got on them a little harder today and it was fun. i think lower would have been nice but with freeway driving, something i do a bit now, im glad i didnt go too low.
a supercharger is possible for the future but for now, its N/A

yeah 3.73 in the cobra at 92 mph is 3000 rpms much metter ,,or the 4.10s are 80 at 3000 rpms at dont take much to drop the rpm to a driveable or liveable range ..i like long trips...

You should have felt a noticable difference but if you think it is going to be night/day difference that maybe it would have...but that is a user choice.

You probably got yourself so excited that when you got in the car you expected ALOT more than what you thought you would get.

First off the tracloc would just give more power to the wheels....but if your tires cant handle it you wont feel a difference. The spline just strengthens the rear a bit...nothing that would change from stock as far as feeling.

Now the gears you should have felt a difference but again only you could have thought it was night/day difference. Some people think it is...some dont.

You should be running a big difference in RPM. But then again ou are a AOD so you might not notice like us 5spds.

In 5th gear you would be cruising at 60mph (with stock wheels) with the RPM at 1450 (2.73 gears) and with the 3.73 you would be at 2000. With the 4.10 you would be at 2200.

Since the AOD only has 4 gears (i think) you might not notice.

its very noticable, but like i said, i wanted more. i think your right about being so excited to have gears, it was a let down to actually get them. one thing i love is that i hardly tap the gas and the car jumps off the line even when im not trying to go fast. your defenitely right about the tires. mine are garbage for racing. great street tire but horrible drag tire. slicks are coming soon but money isnt so well see. im hoping to get a full second off my quarter mile with my gears and limited slip but without tires, im not going to hold my breath. even with stock gears i spun so hard i couldnt get better then 2.3 second 60' even when i feathered the throttle. that was with 1 wheel drive though

Ok I got confused when JD1969 said that they dont get sticky.....I beg to differ. I had very little tred on some bfg radial t/a's...Well I did a couple of runs with no burnout, I got 2.3x and 2.4X 60' times....but when I did burnout....I mean burnout, I burned the F*ck out of them...When I did that I got 2.1x and 2.2x 60' times...but not all tires are the same. THese new tires I have on now dont like to be burned out...In fact I loose tracion when I heat them up..some how when I heat them up they get kind oil feeling....I dont get traction very when I do a burnout on those. So try either way, some tires like it, some dont. Experiment see what better.
In rare instances a street tire might get alittle better with a burn out, most times it will hurt your 60'. Try both and see what happens.
