i have a 92 5.0 efi. ive been having problems with it. i recently replaced the trans. now when i turn on the car and the clutch is engaged it has a horrible wining sound. when i let go of the clutch it stops. also the idle will get stuck at 1300. ill drive the car when its cold and it will be fine, when it reaches operating temp it trys to shut off or the idle will jump up and down. i really cant figure out the problem. any suggestions?

Did you replace the pilot shaft bearing in the back of the engine???

 

sounds like the throw out bearing is bad for the clutch
