doesn't run for ****
ok i have a beautiful 95 5.0 it has a complete custom 2.5" exhaust summitt 80mm maf summitt 75mm tb ford racing 24# injectors and bbk open air. it don't idle for ****, sometimes it runs 1500 and sometimes it runs 600 it is an automatic and i was wondering if i NEEDED a new fuel pump, would a 255 do the job? oh yah i can put the stock maf on and it runs the same way i need help in a bad way and all is appreciated. the maf was calibrated i had it double checked. i had a check engine light come on for 30 seconds yesterday and i'm about to chech it out now i will get back to you guys on it

Did you get a chip tuned for it? I know the stock 94-95 computers dont play nice. Also do you have a pulley kit in it? If you have underdrive pulleys try putting the stock pulleys on first. If you still have the issue get a chip tuned for ut car.

i am running a stock pump with 24# injectors, what i was wondering is if that's the prob. and no underdrives so where do i get a chip programmed or a 93 computer for this thing

Clean out your IAC with some carb cleaner.
If you dont know how, google it.
I have no idea what the code means, but usually you can clean out IAC and it should help you a little bit. Theres alot of grime that builds up in there.
If that doesnt work, it could be a faulty TPS.
And if not that could be your vacuum lines, make sure there's no cracks in your intake hoses.
To check for a faulty fuel pump, take it out, attatch it to a battery, sit it in some gasoline and see if it flows. If not, there's your problem.
Oh, and have a friend with you to remove the tank. That's the one thing I HATE doing.
