Default v6 aode vs v8 aode

Anyone have any idea of any differences?

I heard the only difference is that the v6 uses two less clutch disks, but other than that they were the same...

What's the difference in the aode vs 4r70w?
Kinda new to the electronic auto's.

Anyway. as you know I was looking for an aode to do a little bit of work to & put in my 5.0. I found a '97 3.8 mustang I can get one from. I wasn't aware if they made any changes on the v8 vs v6 one & i'm curious if the bellhousing will bolt up or can it be swapped for the aod bell?

o btw, if you were interested in mine i dropped the price, im going to get my tko and im gonna need some money for the swap.

aode has a lower numerical 1st and 2nd, just a little and the wiring for them is a little different.
thats pretty much about it on the v8 aode to the v8 4r70w.
