so after my cam and valve spring swap i started my car and and ran great i shut it off and how it wont start it dont click or anything help need to go to work in the morning

the neg battery cable was vey hot also and help would be great

Sounds like you hook up the wires wrong or shorted something out.

Check fuses and the battery. The battery may be dead or damaged now.

Whatever wires you disconnected during the install, you sure you put them back right?

i pretty sure i got all the wire back on and in the right place i dont it kinda of sounds like the strater is turning just really really slow

That sounds like a dead battery.

The hot negative lead sounds like a short. You should double check the wires.

i got the ground that comes off the battery on the head and the 2 grounds for the injector harness and the cable ground on the back off the head and the little ground from the battery on the vavle cover the battery is a band new opmia

hot cables indicate high resistance not a short...check all your ground connections are tight and clean od any corrossion and it could just be a bad cable..if you have an ohm meter you can measure the cables resistance

then what you need to do is perform voltage drop tests cause there is a component somewhere that across a connection has high resistance causing excessive current draw casusing the wires so heat up...whether it be in the contacts across the starter selonoid or down on the starter stud... avoltage drop will tell you where the prob is.......this is assuming that the battery is good...turn on the lights and see if they are bright and the system can sustain a load without making them go dim

ok i no that my starter soliod is junk didnt make it to the parts store before they closed so i just jumped the 2 post could it be the starter soliod
