Always start by checking the basics: computer diagnostic codes, vacuum leaks, fuel pressure, Cap & Rotor, Plug wires & spark plugs.
Disconnect the negative battery cable! To open the connectors squeeze the four side clips and pull apart. Do not pry the clips apart as with other connectors. Inside you will find ten male and female terminals.

First use a small pick to slightly squeeze the female terminals closed.

Then spread the male terminals open just slightly. This will ensure a complete electrical contact.

Before reassembly take some spray electrical contact cleaner and clean the male and female connectors. Then fill the female terminals with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion.

This problem is not isolated to the salt and pepper 10-pin connectors. The EGR sensor has a history of this problem, and many other Ford connectors. This is a regular maintenance repair you should plan on doing to your aging high mileage Ford.

I just pulled codes and ran the engine off/on tests. Here are my results...

Continuous memory codes
21 Cooling Temp Sensor out of specified range or ECT our of range (Is this my Thermostat???)
23 TPS sensor is out of range ( I JUST REPLACED IT!!!! could it be a bad wire down towards the harness, or a bad connection???)
31 EVP or PFE circuit below minimum voltage (You guys guessed it, that's the egr valve (EVP)

KOEO
32 EGR Valve Control System signal out of spec
63 Throttle Posistion Control Circuit fault, spec below minimum voltage

KOER
98 Failure Mode (Sensor has gone bad, test cannot be completed till KOEO passes)
63 TPS Fault

What do you guys think?

EDIT: Can any of these codes be caused by my cruise control not being connected. I didnt disconnect it myself, I have no idea why its not working.

did you motor die during koer testing or almost die? i had those two same exact koeo codes and it wouldnt let me complete the koer testing. i got my tps within range with a multi meter and swapped out my evp sensor and those codes are gone. ran codes for koer testing and found out my 02 wire harness had poor connection, cleaned it and now my car runs wonderfully.

hope this helps!

I had just swapped in the new TPS, I didnt know there was any type of "ranging" i had to do >.<

Going to the store now to get a new EGR and when I get back hopefully I can find out how to PROPERLY install a TPS. That very well could be my problem.

It didnt almost die, it just started revvin up and acting weird but i think that's because of the tester controlling the comp trying to find a problem.

I replaced the EGR valve, and 02 sensors. Cleaned the connectors for the IAC, EGR, TPS and mass air.
As well as put the TPS in Range.

Now It allows me to do the KOER Test and these are my codes.

21 Cooling Temperature Sensor out of range or ECT out of range
94 Air Diverter Selenoid Circuit fault.
44 Thermactor Air System Fault

I then cleaned the cooling temp sensor, grinded off the little bit of corrosion and cleaned the connector. Still it gives me code 21.
What do 94 and 44 mean?

Those are the KOER codes I got, but are the result of a smog delete.
