Default T5 question

if it's a T-5 it's a T-5... not much diffrence in them at all... except gearing from some to another... it'll prolly bolt right in... i have an S-rod in my 82GT and a T-5 is gonna get put in..not much to it other than takin the old out and putting the new in,

The tranny will bolt right in.Weather it was an lx or gt doesnt matter. as long it was out of a 5.0 and not a 4cylc car. the 4cylc ones had a smaller tip on the input shaft and was a lot weaker.

Not to mention the bellhousing is different on a 4cyl as well. And ALL T-5's from 5.0's from ALL years will bolt up identical to yours... the only difference is the internals.
